Women's Retreat
A Journey in Prayer
August 18th-20th
Women of the church, mark your calendars for August 18-20! Please join us for
“A Journey in Prayer”. Our retreat will take us to Cresco where we will tour the Laura Ingalls Wilder House and Museum and the Norman Borlaug Farm and Museum. We will have a prayer lesson by Sharon Aldrich, learn centering prayer by Lyn Hopkins, and Forest Breathing by Mary Ann Gregory. Pastor Linda will lead us in Vespers each evening. Friday afternoon offers some free time to rest, tour the Kellogg House, or browse at the Quilt Shop, clothing boutique, antique shop, and Up-cycling Store.
The $75 charge includes lodging, travel, five meals, and admission to the Wilder House and Borlaug Farm. Please make your reservation by June 12. After June 12th, we would still welcome registrations, but individuals might have to reserve their own lodging.
